Home Farm Hens

We have recently acquired our own flock of very friendly and inquisitive chickens which have their own smart accommodation and outside living area in our garden.  Free ranging their antics are providing a source of entertainment and fascination for many of our guests.

Our two white Sussex hybrids, Heather and MJ Rule the roost, supported by Fiona our Speckledy and Bramble,  our four Hy-line Golds, Nutmeg, Ginger, Clove and Saffron, have limitless curiosity and all have insatiable appetites.  Our three youngsters Bluebell, Mercedes and Grubsie, are inseparable as they learn the ropes from their elder sisters.

Of course the purpose of all the above is to provide you, our guests with delicious freshly laid eggs for your breakfast each morning.  Have them anyway you like boiled, fried, scrambled or poached they are  good for you and great for the environment.
