Covid 19 UPDATE

Thank you for visiting our website.

All information about Home Farm B&B remains available and we hope all our guests (and potential guests) are staying healthy during the current pandemic .

In view of the announcement made on 23rd March by the UK and Scottish Governments we are currently closed until at least the end of July 2020 but are reviewing the evolving situation on a regular basis.

We are currently contacting those guests who have upcoming stays to offer cancellation or rebooking of dates. To help with this we have updated our online booking system to show availability from October 2020 right through until 31st October 2021.

We would like to thank everyone who has sent us messages of support, and for your understanding of how serious the current situation is.   We thank you for your understanding in theses trying times and would ask that you Stay well and stay home.

 Best wishes

Welcome to Home Farm Bed and Breakfast

A Warm and friendly welcome awaits you in  our comfortable home, we provide quality accommodation  with unrivalled Scottish hospitality in a comfortable setting.

Home Farm sits in a delightfully quiet rural location on the outskirts of Muir of Ord, a village on the Black Isle close to Inverness.  We are graded four star GOLD by the Scottish Tourist Board.  Visitors to our Bed & Breakfast are ideally placed for touring the Scottish Highlands, including Inverness and Loch Ness.  Daytrips to the West coast the Isle of Skye and the Cairngorms National Park are also possible. The Black Isle immediately to the NE of Inverness offers many visitor attractions, including the resident bottle-nosed dolphins of the Moray Firth. Inverness, the Highland capital, is only a 20-minute car journey away and has many shops, restaurants and visitor attractions, including specialist whisky shops and kilt makers.  The River Ness connecting Loch Ness with the sea has pleasant tree-lined walks.

There is so much to do and see why waste time staying at different places each night, wasting precious hours driving from one B&B to another, getting stressed along the way.  Spend the whole day enjoying your holiday, safe in the knowledge that you can return to Home Farm each evening, where you can relax in the lounge or the garden, we will always aim to make your holiday an enjoyable experience.

As well as working with the Scottish Tourist Board, Home Farm is part of Scotland’s Best B&B’s and Bed and Breakfast Nationwide (The Little Green Book). On arrival guests are welcomed with refreshments and home baking. Full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room and evening meals are available by arrangement. Relax in a tranquil setting where you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
