Homefarm Bed and Breakfast is delighted to have been awarded the Visit Scotland 'Taste Our Best' award. This accreditation ensures that you will eat quality ingredients of Scottish provenance and the freshest seasonal produce. Taste our Best establishments strive for sustainability, sourcing food locally to ensure they keep food miles to a minimum which is in keeping with our commitment to Green Tourism
Breakfast is served in our dinning room at 8am.
This however is not fixed and we are happy to adjust the times for those that need early starts for business or onward journeys.
Our typical menu is:

Fresh fruit juice Fresh or dried fruit compote Home made yoghurt Choice of Cereals Freshly made Porridge ~~~ Cooked Scottish Breakfast Butchers Sausages, Back bacon, Sautéed Mushrooms, Grilled Tomatoes Award Winning Black Pudding or Haggis Free Range Eggs from our own happy hens either Fried, Scrambled Poached or Boiled
Kipper (when available) ~~~ Smoked Haddock served with Poached Egg ~~~ Free Range Scrambled Eggs with Scottish Oak Smoked Salmon ~~~
Home Made Toasted Bread ~~~ Selection of home made preserves, marmalade or honey ~~~
Freshly prepared ground coffee served in a cafetiere a wide choice of teas hot chocolate
All of our ingredients are locally sourced and free range where possible
